Whilst we’re getting the roof ready to work on in Balsall Common, we have pushed ahead with a re-ridge job in Great Dalby. Great Dalby is a small village 3 miles south of Melton Mowbray - so a decent local job for us. Plus, the sun was shining! [aigpl-gallery-slider id="1924"]

We thought we would share some videos on here to show you footage of us at work. This one was taken a while back showing us clipping and trimming back some straw on re-thatch. Think of it as chopping the ears off.

Things Are Getting Busy at Heart of England! Ending the week positively. One job thatched in ready for ridging next week. Another job finally sees the completion of fire-boarding and battening following many delays waiting for timber work.
